Pop!_OS 21.04 congela quando aperto várias teclas ao mesmo tempo

Tô com um problema meio chato por aqui. Decidi migrar do Windows para o Pop!_OS e até agora está tudo maravilhoso, porém tem começado um problema que está me incomodando.

Quando eu digito muito rápido (normalmente quando escrevo alguma risada, que eu aperto 15 teclas do teclado ao mesmo tempo), o sistema congela. O mouse continua funcionando, inclusive alterando seu estado quando passo ele por cima de algum link, porém o resto não responde. Depois de alguns segundos, ele destrava.

Notei isso acontecendo no Pop!_Shop, ao digitar algum programa na barra de pesquisa de forma meio rápida, mas ali só a Pop!_Shop trava e depois de um tempo oferece opção para fechar. Agora, quando escrevo risadas, vi isso acontecer no Telegram (Flatpak) e até no gedit, quando fui testar.

Acredito que possa ser algum problema com o GNOME, pois numa das vezes que travou eu consegui redimensionar e arrastar a janela do Telegram pela tela, e fui ver isso depois que o sistema destravou.

Alguém tem alguma ideia? Grato pela atenção!

i5-7400, 8GB RAM (Single Channel) 2133 MHz, ASUS H110M-CS/BR, GTX 1050, SSD ADATA SU800 + HD Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200rpm

Atualização

Após muito testes (cheguei a deixar o Pop!_OS “pelado”, tirando todas as extensões do GNOME), acredito que descobri o problema. Porém, não sei como resolvê-lo.

Primeiro, que o problema não é exatamente “digitar rápido” e sim pressionar várias teclas ao mesmo tempo. Por isso eu percebi acontecendo enquanto escrevia risada, que é quando eu basicamente tenho um derrame aperto muitas teclas ao mesmo tempo.

Após ler esse tópico no Reddit descobri que alguns teclados “simulam dois” ao pressionar várias teclas ao mesmo tempo. Peguei um teclado meu velho da C3 Tech que está com a tecla “X” faltando, e… funcionou! Ele não dá essas travadas quando aperto várias teclas ao mesmo tempo.

Meu teclado atual é um T-Dagger Tanker T-TGK106. Há alguma forma de corrigir isso no próprio sistema operacional? Pelo que li, o problema é com o GNOME X.org. Quando estava com o Windows e até mesmo com o Debian o problema não ocorreu. Não tô afim de comprar um teclado novo e ainda ter que “arriscar” a sorte dele não fazer essa “gambiarra”.

Vou dar uma olhada em VM. Pode ser que acha alguma configuração no gnome, se eu não me engano no xfce tem algo para esse tipo de coisa. Ja tinha ouvido falar de alguma coisa do tipo que alguns teclados simulavam 2. Vou dar uma olhada no modelo, mais que estranho esse erro… as vezes as configurações podem estar deixando o sistema “perdido”.


Como assim, “só” acontece especificamente com o Xorg? Se não você pode testar o wayland para ver se acontece a mesma coisa, a menos que você tenha preferencia pelo Xorg. Não sei se isso pode estar direcionado ao servidor grafico exatamente, mas mesmo assim, @Talls ? :sweat_smile:

Eu tentei dar uma fuçada nas configurações de teclado do GNOME. Mexi aqui, até tentei reiniciar entre cada alteração, mas nada :frowning: .

Eu sou iniciante no Linux então não sei exatamente como alterar. Pelo que vi dizer o Wayland não funciona muito bem com os drivers proprietários da NVIDIA, correto? Tirei essa conclusão acima baseado no que foi dito nessa postagem do Reddit que mencionei e pelo que foi reportado nessa issue do GNOME Shell no GitLab.

Eu dei uma pesquisada, você está usando a iso com nvidia do popOS , correto? ou você baixou depois? vi algumas pessoas com problemas por causa disso.

Exatamente. Baixei a .ISO que inclui os drivers da NVIDIA.

Adendo: acabei de testar o Linux Mint 20.2 Cinnamon em modo Live e o problema não acontece. Realmente, é problema no GNOME ou no Xorg (não sei se o Mint usa ele, provavelmente sim).

Dei uma procurada e fui para meu sistema com Xorg. (Openbox Debian 11)
Tem como mostrar a saida de :

cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log

Uso no meu dia a dia Plasma Wayland, então não tenho certeza de como funciona.
Mas achei no local de bugs do gentoo, que parecia um bug do Xorg a um tempo atras.
(Sei que são sistemas diferentes, mas pode ter algo relatado sobre o pacote X.)

existe sim uma ligação do teclado com X, mas acho muito raso acusar que ele é o problema sem fazer outros testes antes.
@GabrielMcCloud tente fazer esses testes:

  • Xorg sem o drive proprietário
  • gnome wayland (sem drive proprietário logico)
  • abra o monitor de sistema na aba que mostra o consumo do processador, e pressione as teclas loucamente, para ver se existe alguma sobrecarga.
  • trocar o kernel

se tiver alguma duvida é só pergunta.

Isso eu já fiz. Sim, o uso do processador dá um “pico” quando trava ao pressionar várias teclas. Isso também acontece quando conectei o teclado, mas no caso do da C3 Tech, foi só quando eu conectei (provavelmente ele estava configurando), daí quando tentei pressionar muitas teclas nada aconteceu. O problema não acontece com ele.

Sobre os outros testes… não sei fazer. Preciso de ajuda. ^^’

Aqui no fórum ja existe um tópico para isso ,Wayland no Pop!_OS.

Melhor esquecer por enquanto isso.

Entre por wayland sem mais modificações, somente para teste.
Não é confirmado o resultado, se vai entrar ou não, é somente para saber como que vai se comportar.
