Screen Tearing no Ubuntu Intel

Alguém sabe como eu faço para resolver screen tearing com placa de vídeo intel ? Eu executei um comando que copiei de um post do Diolinux mas acabou não funcionando no meu sistema e não sei como resolvo esse problema. Usei esse comando aqui:

sudo apt-get install mesa-utils -y && sudo mkdir /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ && echo -e ‘Section “Device”n Identifier “Intel Graphics”n Driver “Intel”n Option “AccelMethod” “sna”n Option “TearFree” “true”nEndSection’ | sudo tee /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf

mas quando reiniciei o meu notebook ele simplesmente não iniciou, ele ficava numa tela que ele tem na hora de iniciar mas não mostrava a parte gráfica e ficava naquilo

Comigo sempre funcionou esse comando, estranho
Outra coisa que funciona para mim é atualizar o kernel por um mais novo, o kernel 5.5.5 tirou o tearing para mim

Para que eu possa te ajudar da melhor maneira me informa qual versão do ubuntu vc tá utilizando e em qual software vc está sofrendo com tearing.

vou tentar atualizar meu kernel para ver se esse comando resolve

Ubuntu Budgie 19.10 (kernel: 5.3.0-40-generic). Tenho o tearing com o gnome-mpv, player de multimídia que vem com o Ubuntu Budgie

Instale e habilite essa extensão que vai resolver: Disable unredirect fullscreen windows - GNOME Shell Extensions

Rode esse comando e vê se está ativado: cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep -i tearfree

Meu notebook também é com Intel HD Graphics (a 620 para ser mais exato). Para resolver o problema eu simplesmente adicionei o arquivo /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf com o conteúdo abaixo:

Só isso e o problema foi embora.

Pelo que eu vi, por algum motivo, o modulo intel do xorg não é carregado.

Acho que a primeira config não deu certo por causa das aspas usadas.

Aì já não posso ajudar. Nunca usei. Mas vc pode tentar resolver com o arquivo xorg criado com as configurações da sua placa de vídeo.
