[RESOLVIDO] Wifi não funciona no Linux Mint 19.1 nem no Windows 10

Não consigo listar as redes sem fio para me conectar. Meu notebook apresenta uma luz vermelha na tecla que possui um simbolo de rede, e não é ligado com a combinação FN + Essa Tecla (F12). nem apenas f12 (já que nesse teclado há inversão das teclas de função e ações).

No Windows 10, ao apertar essa tecla, ela habilita/desabilita o modo avião, porém não liga o wifi. Tentei remover do gerenciador de dispositivos, e baixar o driver do site da HP, e também usei drivers obtidos de programas como o drive booster e nada resolveu.

Como eu acho que é algum problema no hardware, eu abri o notebook e passei uma borracha nos contatos elétricos, coloquei novamente, mas não obtive sucesso. Mas a placa é listada, tanto no Windows (Gerenciador de Dispositivos) Quanto no Linux(Usei apenas o terminal).

Meu notebook é um HP 240 G3. Placa de WIfi é uma Atheros AR9485. A internet funciona normalmente no cabo.

Seu problema é hardware. Segue um macete pra deixar seu wifi ligado direto, sem depender das teclas.

Eu tive um problema similar em um notebook que dei manutenção tempos atrás. No meu caso, era problema de hardware, e trocando a placa de rede wireless do aparelho resolveu o problema. Agora listando tudo, estes podem ser os problemas:

  • Driver mal instalado (ou não instalado); (acredito não ser seu caso)
  • Controlador sem fio desabilitado pelo Fn + F12; (pelo que você disse, já estou, então podemos descartar)
  • Controlador sem fio desabilitado pela de chave wireless on/off; (alguns modelos antigos possuem essa chave na frente do notebook)
  • Problema de hardware. (Se o seu caso não for a opção anterior, acredito ser essa)

Verifique e poste se houver mais novidades.

Por ser uma modificação na placa, vou testá-la como ultima opção (quer dizer, acho que é a minha única opção kk). Mas acho que é mesmo hardware.

Realmente, está com toda cara de hardware mesmo. Mas dependendo do preço de uma plaquinha nova, eu recomendaria um adaptador wi-fi USB. Eu uso em um computador em minha casa, gastei bem menos do que em uma placa de rede interna e me serve da mesma forma.

eu pensei nisso. mas vi uma placa interna do mesmo modelo do notebook por 53,00 com o frete somado. Prefiro uma solução assim, apesar de cogitar comprar uma antena externa. Mas eu irei perder uma entrada usb, eu estava pesando em adquirir um mouse sem fio.

Entendi. Realmente, perder uma USB em um notebook é complicado, e mesmo tendo aquelas “réguas USB”, o notebook fica parecendo um Frankenstein. Veja o que vai fazer, e se precisar de ajuda, estamos aí.

Na verdade não é uma modificação na placa, é apenas isolar 1 unico contato com fita isolante (como no video mostra). Não vai danificar sua maquina e, caso não de certo, voce podera comprar uma nova plaquinha de rede (que é bem baratinha) no ML. Vale a pena testar :slight_smile:

Ao executar o comando rfkill list, em Wireless Lan,
Aparecia “Hard Blocked:yes”
Pelo que eu pesquisei, é basicamente a questão de o botão/chave do wireless está ativa ou não. Porém como eu já tinha dito antes, eu já me certifiquei disso.
Então, segui a solução de @leolimajc e olhem só, agora consigo listar as redes sem fio!!! Mas ao colocar a senha e abrir o navegador, nada de internet.
Consigo “pingar” para meu próprio ip da rede local, mas não consigo para outras máquinas da rede nem para fora (ping google.com ou ping 8.8.8.8)

Então gente, só para finalizar essa novela. O wifi funciona/não funciona.
Consegui alguns minutos com acesso a internet, e depois a conexão caiu e não reconectou. Não consegui me logar na rede sem fio daqui de casa.
E vou comprar um adaptador externo. Pelo que vcs me falaram, parece ser a melhor opção.
