Wifi 5g nao funciona corretamente

boa tarde, preciso da ajuda de vcs, sou novo no mundo linux, e recentemente tirei o windows 11 do meu note e coloquei o mint ultima versao, ate ai blz, gostei e estava usando de boa, mais reparei o meu 5g nao passa de 30mb, sendo minha net de 700mb, no cabo chega a velocidade contratada.
ai reinstalei o mint e nao deu em nada, coloquei o ubuntu e nada tb,
mas no windows 11 a rede 5g roda normal fica entre 150 a 200 mb.

Entao, obrigado pela ajuda,
estou sim na 5g, porem eu reinstalei o windows 11 por causa da wifi, e estou usando o ubuntu via pendrive agora no caso, porque caso nao consiga resolver o problema talvez fa;a um dual boot.

No networkmanager trm como escolher manualmente a banda

po tenho sim, as redes tem nomes diferentes, mas eu conecto na rede 5g porem a velocidade dela nĂŁo passa de 30mbps, ai Ă© preferĂ­vel usar a 2.4 porque chega perto dos 50 a 60mbps mais isso no linux, testei em duas distro mint e ubuntu.(errata, testei aqui tanto a rede 2.4 e 5 g estao com a mesma velocidade) 20mbps

no windows a 5g roda liso, uso o windows 11.

vi na net um caras falando em usar kernel mais atualizado, mas nao manjo nada disso.

opa, agora vou mandar a saida dos comandos so que conectado na rede 2.4

No Fedora, usando o nmcli (vem instalado) se consegue verificar com o comando:

Resulta em algo como:

sim = rede ativa.

Bate uns 400MB no wifi no mesmo quarto onde está o roteador, contratado é 600 ~.

entao, estou na sala do lado do roteador, e nao passa de 30mbps, mais so no linux no windows bate ate 300, minha net eh de 700.

Problema de 5 anos atrás e ainda continua, então provavelmente ninguém conseguiu resolver ou não quiseram.

Set Active-State Power Management (ASPM) to off at runtime.

Create a grub config backup:

cp /etc/default/grub /etc/default/grub.bak

Open the grub configuration file located in:

/etc/default/grub

Add the “pcie_aspm=off” kernel boot parameter to the the end of the grub load line.

The line you will need to edit will look similar to the line below:

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet resume=UUID=e677590f-a8b0-49ad-a6a1-bed005449d2f"

There will be many other entries with btrfs used with Garuda.

Add this parameter at the end of that line:

pcie_aspm=off 

The modified grub load line should now look similar to this (there will be many other entries with btrfs):

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet resume=UUID=e677590f-YOUR-NUMB-BERS-HEREo449d2f pcie_aspm=off"

After adding the boot parameter and saving your changes, run:

sudo update-grub 

Reboot.
