It just needs to be used in the right way. If you avoid it completely, you will miss out on a helpful learning and if you rely on it blindly, you will slow your growth.

A junior doesn’t even know when they’re in “helpful learning” or “slowing growth” territory, and using AI will not magically help with that. Telling them to “use it the right way” without defining what that looks like, is just like telling someone who can’t swim to “use water correctly”.
This is just the kind of bad, vague advise that simply don’t help juniors.
If you can’t critically evaluate AI output on a topic you don’t understand yourself, you will end learning bad programming advises and taking bad solutions for guaranteed.
They must do tasks the hard way first (Debugging, reading docs, understanding error messages, etc). And when, and only when, they feel comfortable with the task, they will be able to use AI without relying on it blindly.

E como um iniciante vai saber usar da maneira correta? não é tão simples quanto parece
Se a pessoa usar a IA irá ter facilidade na entrega dos projetos, mas “não” irá pensar, e em consequência, não irá aprender de forma definitiva.
Quem quiser usar a IA, deve estar consciente que não “será” um programador “pleno” que utiliza a sua inteligência para o processo.
No meu tempo, não existia IA, quase não existia manuais… então o que aprendi foi na raça e nunca mais me esqueci… se tivesse usado a IA com certeza teria esquecido
