Syslog de 200 GB

Meu pc tem apresentado a mensagem de que tinha menos de 1GB no filesystem root e sempre que clicava sumia e acabava esquecendo, hoje fui procurar e achei um arquivo de nome /var/log/syslog.1

nunca acessei esses arquivos e não sei como resolver (além de apagar tudo)
mas como sei que log traz informação queria entender elas antes de apagar

Como medida urgente, você pode apagar as entradas antigas do syslog, vai aliviar no tamanho do arquivo.

Já até limpei o arquivo… apenas não identifiquei o que gerou essa quantidade de log’s

dentre alguns que vi várias ocorrências, incluindo hoje é esse

do restante não consegui identificar além

também segui os passsos desse tópico para tentar limitar o tamanho do arquivo

Este fim de semana o erro apareceu na minha cara com um código de retorno, como indicava o [nvidia-drm] dei uma buscada e o código de erro era erro do driver, estava disparando praticamente a cada segundo, atualizei o driver para o mais recente recomendado pela Nvidia e não ocorreu mais
