Mint 20 Cinnamon - Cinnamon apenas caiu

Após a instalação do mint 20 cinnamon, tenho percebido, várias vezes um erro provocado por algum applet, extensão ou desklet.

Todas as atualizações estão aplicadas, incluindo últimas versões do kernel.

Como posso investigar/identificar esses erros, em logs ou algo assim, e comunicar desenvolvedores sobre o erro?

Isso ocorre em vários equipamentos diferentes, todos com Mint 20 Cinnamon. Meu PC, com VGA 1660, 32GB RAM. Ryzen 5 3600; notebook samsung i7, 20GB RAM, vga MX 110; notebook asus com 10GB RAM, vga intel onboard, intel i5 3ª geração; note do trabalho um Dell Latitude 3540, 8 GB RAM.

Enfim, mais para ver que, a principio, não parece ser questão de hardware.

Então clico em Sim, para desativar tudo d reinciar o cinnamon… ele reinicia e volta ao normal. E o problema é aleatório, pois mesmo sem “nada” aberto (apenas o sistema iniciado), às vezes ocorre também.

Este é um de vários problemas no cinnamon, as extensões, desklets e etc…, podendo ser até um tema demoram muito para serem atualizados com a versão nova do cinnamon. Muitas as vezes até não são.
Na época que eu utilizava havia um grande número com este problema… e eu escolhi não utilizar mais …

Muitas extensões que ocasionavam este tipo de erro eram para mexer no painel… tente desativar e veja se tem outra para mesma função que funciona sem erros.

Já tentou ver a saída com

jounalctl | grep -i nomedaextensao

tentei dar uma vasculhada rápida em /var/log, bisbilhotando os logs com “… | grep -i spices”, mas não encontrei nada.

… e segue a saga do “cinnamon apenas caiu”… também na versão 20.1

Então, acabei vendo um um fórum do mint em inglês que menciona a formatação personalizada da data e hora… eu configuro para mostrar como abaixo:

… então, removi uma “,” (vírgula) que tinha na formatação e vou testando.
Em último caso, desativo a configuração personalizada e deixo somente a formatação padrão.

O meu Mint 20 Cinnamon não está dando boot. Que ferramenta via pen driver posso aplicar para consertar este problema?!!!

Eu já tive que reparar o boot, uma vez apenas, não lembro bem com procedi, mas, lembro que utilizei recursos conforme mencionado nos links abaixo:

Também tem soluções inicializando, por exemplo, com algum CD/DVD/USB em modo live, geralmente, com ferramentas gráficas, no caso, o prórprio “boot-repair”.
