não estou conseguindo instalar o Brave no meu ubuntu 20.04 recém atualizado.
tentei o processo pelo PPA do UbuntuUpdates, mas não localizou a fonte.
podem me ajudar?

sudo apt install apt-transport-https curl && curl -s https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/brave-core.asc | sudo apt-key --keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/brave-browser-release.gpg add - && echo "deb [arch=amd64] https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/ stable main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave-browser-release.list && sudo apt update && sudo apt install brave-browser

infelizmente não está funcionando mesmo, diz que a lista de fontes não pode ser lida.
Foi digitado o comando corretamente:
sudo apt install apt-transport-https curl
curl -s https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/brave-core.asc | sudo apt-key --keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/brave-browser-release.gpg add -
echo “deb [arch=amd64] https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/ stable main” | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave-browser-release.list
sudo apt update
sudo apt install brave-browser

Instalei normalmente aqui o Brave pelos comandos que tem no site oficial deles

Eu baixei pelo software boutique do Ubuntu MATE. Install Software Boutique on Ubuntu using the Snap Store | Snapcraft
Instale o Boutique e instale o Brave por lá

Eu tentei instalar o Brave mas parece que houve um erro na instalação, agora nem sudo apt-get update ele faz mais, ele sempre mostra essa mensagem de erro:
E: Malformed entry 1 in list file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave-browser-release-.list (Component)
E: A lista de fontes não pode ser lida.
após eu fiz o seguinte:
sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave-browser-release-.list
Nessa linha estava escrito esse comando
deb [arch=amd64] https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/ main
então eu apaguei este comando e foi possível fazer o “sudo apt-get update” novamente
Após conseguir fazer o update digitei o código de instalação do Brave, mas apareceu outro erro a seguir:
sudo apt install apt-transport-https curl
