Algumas vezes o sistema operacional não quer iniciar de primeira

Desde a semana passada, por apenas umas duas vezes (a segunda e última foi hoje de manhã) o sistema não quis iniciar, mas basta eu desligar o notebook manualmente e ligá-lo novamente que o sistema inicia como se nada tivesse acontecido.

O GRUB de seleção do ssitema operacional aparece direitinho, mas o sistema não passou da tela de carregamento que apresenta o ícone da distribuição. Eu uso o Kubuntu 20.04 em dual boot com o Windows 10, mas eu nunca permito que o Windows atualize ou faça qualquer modificação no disco.

Será que é um problema de software (no caso o Kubuntu) ou de hardware (HD? Memória RAM?). Usei o programa Gnome Disks para verificar a integridade do meu HD e deu tudo como OK.

Desabilite as opções “quiet” e “splash” no /etc/default/grub, depois atualiza o grub e fica monitorando as mensagens na inicialização.

O dia que travar ao menos vc consegue tirar uma foto pra ver o que aconteceu.
